River Tay Rainbows By Jock Monteith

The light shows on Scotland's most famous salmon river can certainly be awe inspiring most of the time however I'm always reaching for my camera the moment one of our multi coloured friends appears as the was the case here. I've always felt real natural magic in the air when one of these appears.
This lovely rainbow shot was taken at the mouth of the River Tummel junction where the Tummel flows into the Tay. This entire area of the Tay Valley has exceptionally fine natural scenery and has always been a great salmon fishing area.
