The Scottish Salmon Fishing Bug

Scotland has over 400 hundred salmon rivers that are all easily accessible from the major Scottish cities. The big four rivers are the Tay, Dee, Spey and Tweed and all of these venues fish well from early Spring through to late Autumn.
Here's a lovely downstream shot of the middle River Tay close to the Perthshire village of Murthly. This is the area of the Tay where the British rod caught record salmon was landed way back in 1922. That particular Tay salmon weighed in at 64lbs and was landed by a lady salmon fisher.
